UrbanToronto member Solaris went halfway up the Bay Adelaide Centre and got these up-close shots of cladding work on the Trump Tower Toronto. These shots, and more in the original post (see link below the story), show the track and rigs that are used to install windows and spandrel panels on the exterior of the concrete structure. Zeidler Partnership Architects' design features a gray granite on lower levels, but moves to dark windows alternating with a strong copper green spandrel panel on upper levels.

Stages hang from a track that spans the facade. Winches which hold the panels in place until they are attached are also fixed to the track. As levels are completed, the equipment is raised higher.
