Waterlink at Pier 27, a Cityzen and Fernbrook project on Toronto Harbour just east of Yonge Street, has recently submitted their last three proposed buildings for rezoning approval to the City. Designed by architectsAlliance, the three new buildings all approach a theme with their own variation; namely a particular angle on modernism.

While experiments that go beyoind the Toronto box are breaking out all over, we've never seen angles quite so pronounced on Toronto condos to this point. Will the new phases fly? The first phases by the lake, now under construction, are 14 storeys tall. The tallest and boldest of the three new towers here is proposed to be 35 storeys tall, pretty much in line with the Harbour Castle Westin hotel immediately west of it across the slip, but taller than anything else currently proposed for the south side of Queens Quay East. What do you think of the plans?
