UrbanToronto member Drum118 recently took his camera to the construction site of Empire Communities' new Beyond The Sea and Star Tower condominiums on Lake Shore Boulevard along Etobicoke's waterfront, designed by E.I. Richmond Architects. The final product, looking east toward downtown, will look something like this one day:
Currently though, the towers are variously still in the ground or rising out of it. The shortest of the three towers, eventually to be 26 storeys, is currently the tallest. Below is the tower from the south:

Here's the podium growing between the two western towers in the project:
The more southerly of the two western towers is now rising above the podium too: it will eventually be 37 storeys tall. This shot is taken from Lake Shore Boulevard:
Finally, Star Tower, eventually the tallest of the complex at 44 storeys, is still in the ground.
