The condo boom continues to expand into the suburbs and we're all for it. Renaissance Condos, situated in downtown Brampton is one such example.
Developed by Alterra Group and designed by KNY Architects, it rises 27 stories and will be the tallest building in the area.
The added density is a plus and the tower design is fine but what's up with the podium? There is a recent trend of putting all glass towers above podiums made of precast concrete that look totally out of place. Is this a modern glass condo or a faux old school stone building? Neither we guess.
