There's a new condo coming to the St Lawrence Market area and it is getting a lot of attention. Called The Berczy Condos, it will be located at the prime corner of Front and Church directly south of the Flatiron Building. Developed by Concert Properties and designed by IBI Group it will rise 13 storeys. Sales centre is being prepared, website is up and sales will be starting shortly.
While we are not happy losing the vine covered frontage where the Keg is currently located, we do believe this will be a great addition to the neighborhood. As for the Keg, its moving to London On The Esplande (seen directly behind in the first rendering).
New Renderings:
This rendering seems to make the Berzcy the same height as the Flatiron. That certainly isn't the case. But the setbacks on the top portion of the building are designed to minimize shadowing on Berczy Park, which is located directly to the west of the Flatiron.
