">Hello everybody! Welcome to the new Urban Toronto. We've added some great new features we hope you'll like. It's all so new that we haven't had a chance to try it all out yet. We appreciate your patience as we spend the next few weeks tweaking things. Please post any items that need changing or fixing here. A major change to the site is that we now feature blogs and videos. We also now have a proper home page where we can highlight news items. One cool thing about the home page is that we're able to turn individual forum posts into articles. We will be using that feature a lot as we highlight the great content our members are posting here. We have made some changes to the forum itself. The biggest change is the new Real Estate section. We removed Real Estate to its own section to keep Greater Toronto Discussions free from talk about prices, layouts etc. This is an important change that we will strictly enforce. The other thing to note is Real Estate is still a work in progress. I'm looking for advice on how to organize sub-forums in this section. You can help by posting your thoughts here.
We are obviously big fans of construction, design, architecture, photography and more. Our members are great providers of content. Some of these members are simply fans, others work in the business. We'd like reach out to those in the business to work with us on building an even bigger and better site. This can be done by providing us with content such as renders, photos or video (geeks like us love behind-the-scenes stuff). Whether it be creating threads on projects we've missed, giving us news scoops or supporting the site through advertising, we thank everyone for participating. A big thanks goes out to our current advertisers which are Cityzen, Monarch and Tridel.
