...or who did you vote for if you cast a vote in the advanced poll.

Oh, and I think 100% of us agree that any Faith Goldy supporters can well...get lost.

Thanks, well, right now I'm just a canvasser. Been working on two campaigns. I have made the commitment to spend more time knocking on doors than griping online, so my presence will likely be limited in the upcoming days.

For those who voted already at city hall, how were the lineups?

Actually, I *can* see the ghost of Al Waxman as a popular write-in option ;-)

I think she gets between 20-30% and Tory is between 60-70% of the vote.

Yup. I'd rather vote for someone I believe in over the "electable" candidate who comes 20 points behind. To me Saron Gebresellassi getting 5% would be a bigger deal than Keesmaat getting 38% (and still losing).

Thing is, I would have voted for Keesmatt in 2022. By then the North American experiment with populism may (I hope) have subsided and we could return to city building.

She's wasting her political and public capital by running now. Toronto needs a seasoned, well-connected and deep thinking fighter to counter DoFo. Tory's the closest we got on that score.

I think Keesmaat's attempts at 'populism' seem too Bourgeois, too Annex.

Populism is about what you hate, and driving a tribal fear of the other, not what you want. Keesmatt is not a populist.
