Not sure how many here would be interested, but the City of Mississauga is continuing the public consultation process re planning of some waterfront parks.
Public meetings will be held:
Wed. June 28, 7 to 9 pm., Clarkson Community Centre, 2475 Truscott Drive
Thurs. June 29, 7 to 9 pm., Mississauga Seniors' Centre, 1389 Cawthra Road
The parks in question are:
Memorial Park West (W side of Credit River immediately north of Lakeshore Road); Marina Park (W side of Credit River south of Lakeshore Road); J.C. Saddington Park (Port Credit); Lakeside Park (Lakeshore Road near Southdown Road), and a new unnamed park at Lakeshore Road just east of Winston Churchill Blvd.
An initial round of consultations was held several months ago, and I expect some concrete proposals will now be coming forward.
