Hi guys, since this forum is filled with people experienced in urban affairs, I just want to explain my situation.
Two years ago I entered the math program at Waterloo, but my mind was simply not there. In my spare time when there was absolutely nothing to do I went to the Environment buildings to see what was going on, and I soaked up enormous amounts of information about the subject. Needless to say, no one knows about this.
Last January I told myself to screw it, and decided to apply to transfer to the planning program starting this September. I have since rubbed shoulders with several of the faculty members who seem quite welcoming to my application to join the program.
As a transfer applicant I have to wait until first year students have enrolled before they can make a decision, which should be next week.
For those of you familiar with the program, what are your likes and dislikes of it? What are the faculty and courses which are most interesting and worthwhile?
Thanks for any answers!
