Not sure what is going on there, but 92 College Street (near Elizabeth Street), the now former home of UofT's Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology is being demolished as I write this message. Has anyone heard of anything? That was a cute little house. UT made a short story about 90 College, demolished quite a long time ago and now the parking lot adjacent to 92 College: http://urbantoronto.ca/news/2011/11/then-and-now-90-college-street

Probably to feed the monster across the street.

Jokes aside sad to see this go, anyone have any idea?

What a shame:eek:, i guess if you're UofT you can do whatever you want
Meanwhile other crap being protected, figure it?

Let's not be overly melodramatic about it - especially considering the amount of heritage structures they have restored/reused (e.g. 1 Spadina, Munk). Personally, I'd be more interested in preserving the Centre of Bioethics next door.

Yeah U of T has done more for architecture in Toronto than any other group. Losing any heritage building hurts, but I'm sure there's a reason.... I hope.
