TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

4569 is now in Toronto, en route to delivery; 4570(?) has shipped.

I wonder if we will see any more Kingston cars.... they are now shipping to Edmonton, and to Crosstown. Not sure they have capability to produce three models simultaneously. Thunder Bay is certainly keeping up the pace without them.

4566 has enter service on 504 (br604A) after arriving Aug 9

With 27 more cars to be ship and only 13 weeks for delivery, going to be a tight finish to see all here this year.

I expect Thunder Bay will produce Kingston cars now.

Regardless if all ship this year, Still have to burn cars in Jan 2020. TTC will not have a full fleet until 2021 when the last of the 67 cars that needs weld fixing, if then.

TTC has yet to see a car back that was ship for weld fixing starting with 4400 that was ship Sept 7, 2018 currently in Kingston,
4403 Feb 20, 2019,
4404 Oct 29, 2019,
4405 April 10, 2019,
4406 May 01, 2019
4401 May 14, 2019 currently in Thunder Bay to be rebuilt as a production car.

Both ALRVs were absolutely packed today. Unfortunately there were a few geniouses (by a few a mean a lot) who decided it would be a bright idea to sign their names/signatures all across the windows. In any case, here are a few shots of the ALRVs last rides today:

Neither 4568 & 69 were tracking when I left for Queen to shoot the ALRV around 11 am.

4568 is tracking now.

As I was heading south on 511 to do some shooting before heading to Queen, pass 4207 that was follow by a push truck an out of service CLRV at King. It must have been in the parade.

As I was walking on Queen to setup, 4207 show up ahead of schedule and stop in front of me to let a camera crew off. A few people around me asked if they could get on at a not stop location and the driver said sure. With that, I got on that wasn't plan for. Even got a seat of all things. Ridership was a roller coaster to Greenwood and back to Bathurst.

As I was waiting for 4204 to head east for the last time, shot a number of 45's I have yet to get shots of. Saw 3 westbound 45's and one was 4569 going out for a test run. It still not tracking.

4204 look like it was plug up as it pass us. It look the same way when I saw it twice more.

It was stated by TTC representatives on the car, there is no word which one of the 2 cars will be retain, with the other going to Halton.

AMA of Metrolinx was using the streetcars as a background At Bathurst for an interview or PR.

ALRV's now a foot note in TTC history books.

Apparently one of the cars that were shipped to the US for cleaning and dryout after being caught in a flood is ready to return to Toronto. It's likely to arrive in a week or two.
