Whitehouse/"haus" Demo begins:
Good night, sweet prince.
I am looking forward to seeing this one rise in 2017.
All buildings are demolished as of the 24th of Dec (Saturday), excavation is likely starting now.
First they have to backfill the former basement level and then shore the site. Excavation might not happen for a little while
Fascinating to see the brick wall of the building they are tearing down next to the brick of the building next door.

It's kinda like the ruins of an ancient Roman Bath?
That's eerie. For those of us who often used those steps - thinking early-mid 1990s for me - that is a strangely moving picture.

I noticed a few days ago the stairs remained intact for the former building that stretch over Yonge. (I'm going to miss those stairs) Anyways, the site looked more clear/tidy then the previous update photo.
What's the application status of this building, is it fully approved?
Was recommended for approval back in 2014:
