1630 QUEEN ST E
Ward 32 - Tor & E.York District

Proposed site development with a 6-storey midrise residential building with live/work units fronting Queen Street East. The total proposed GFA is approximately 4,690.8 square metres, resulting in an overall density of 3.64 FSI.

That is great. That KFC had a lot of land and the parking lot was never full. There will be no love lost with the disappearance of the KFC from my old neighborhood.

Lanterra may have talked to someone at City Hall about the site, but as the Mondelez story taught us, the entry in the registry does not mean that they necessarily bought the site, only that at least they were investigating it. We should not take the lobbyist registry entries as proof of purchase.

I took at look through the application materials and found the application form... the owner is Zev Mendelbaum (1630 Queen Developments Limited) 2811 Dufferin Street ... so it looks like this is a Lanterra project or at least some associated family company. Not sure why the owner listed in the City report is different than the application form ... maybe it was left over from a previous city report template and they forgot to remove it

Not sure about all the way to the corner. The Emerald Bar and Grill bar is now part of the project though.

Yes - and the latest drawings from last week are on the City development site
