Right? So, they went from "it looks too much like Ryerson SLC so change it!" to now it looks like any random office park in the suburbs so that's fine. ?
 
This is the precedent set by Waterfront Toronto and it's design review panel (which I still am not really sure what purpose it is they serve aside from inflating already exaggerated egos of local architects).

The WTDRP was on record for being fairly negative towards every iteration of the design. This falls on WT at large and Menkes.

After a number of glances out the window today I noticed a new crane. It must have been the yellow boom that caught my eye. The white just gets lost in the forest I guess.
The forever seemingly dabbling on this side of the project is finally taking off.

It all comes down to the cladding. If they can knock it out of the park with the cladding, this building has a chance.
