The city and Amacon have move the density and towers around to suite the New Sq On Dr at the north of the site.

The next phase of Parkside Village after Avia has been floating around on some broker sites.

Called Voya, it is located on Block 1 West between Avia and Zonta Meadows (park). Two towers at 42 and 36 storeys.

Parkside Village is definitely going to be one of the highest density neighbourhoods in Canada once completed.

I like how the podium transitions into the park and vice versa. It feels strange to be liking a quasi tower in the park.

Mississauga has a population of about 812 356
Peel Region has a population of almost 1,500,000 - the same as Calgary
hardly suburban anymore
'Suburban' is not a matter of population, but of how sections of the municipality are laid out and how they function. The vast majority of Mississauga is most definitely suburban, this particular site not so much.

There is a thread for Block 1W Like there was for Block 1E through the tower sizes have change since they like most block to date as well the last 3 blocks to come.

Block 5 south of Block 1W and Block 8 south block 1E and sales office is block 10

Cities are changing. By your definition, the city of Dubai would be suburban - It's a cluster of individual non-connected high rises - cities grow differently today. Today, there are as many cars travelling from Toronto to Mississauga as there are other way. Square One shopping centre functions as Mississauga's downtown, much like the downtown mall in Dubai. You can't compare say New York and Dubai with the same criteria but both are considered urban centres.
