New entry in PlanIt for VMC. Located in the block bounded by Hwy 7, Interchange Way to the East, Commerce St to the South/West.
Not sure what the block number is, mods feel free to update thread title.

From the project description:
"Four condominium towers (50, 45, 29 & 24 storeys) atop podiums ranging in heights from 2-6 storeys. A significant amount of ground-related retail and amenity space is proposed. A north-south retail-lined pedestrian mews opening up to a large POPS is proposed, as well as east-west connections. 4 vehicle accesses are poposed with all parking being accomodated underground."

Jeez. It's like they just discovered oil up there. If they can sell these even half as fast as Transit City, VMC could have a real skyline by 2021

This was posted in the NRU today. This is apparently designed IBI Group.

New docs on PlanIt. The site is in Block 3 North of VMC.
4 towers: 50, 45, 29 and 24 storeys, as well as townhomes and a 'significant' amount of retail at grade.

The massing is eerily similar to IBI's Delta from a few years ago. Mirrored one of the renderings for a better comparison with an old photo of mine:

I think that sometimes it is difficult to read the market.

For a dual income household where 1 spouse works downtown and the other in York or Peel region somewhere, this area seems like an excellent compromise.

But if we were looking at all the cranes going up downtown and along Yonge Street spine, you wouldn't think about Vaughan.

The project appeared before the Vaughan design review panel on September 27, 2018.
You can read the minutes here

That's unusual, considering similar developments in the area are selling out like hotcakes.

I'd imagine they are planning on using it for future phases as well. Much like Cortel and their sales centre which they used for 5 different buildings. Quadreal owns a ton of property here - they are probably the second largest landowner in the VMC (Toromount is pretty close as well though I believe).
