Too bad they didn't stick with the white cladding and spandrel from the previous phases. It would have looked much sharper.
 
A cloudy day yesterday but still 60 km visibility to Brock University on the right and 68km to the Niagara Falls’ hotels on the left. They should have unobstructed south views forever in the upper half of the Tower at Pier 27.

I wouldn't say that the views will be unobstructed forever, but I don't foresee any further land reclamation efforts at this specific waterfront location for another 40 years. Moreover, any land reclamation would probably be for public space.
 
I'd bet the folks who have been enjoying views of downtown from their north facing suites for the last couple of years aren't so happy with the view today. Course, they won't need cable in the future. They'll be able to watch the tv of their new neighbors once this tower occupies.
