So the former Sobey's building flooded last night. Apparently the sprinklers burst, completely flooding the intersection of Princess and The Esplanade.

It will be a bit of a shame to see that warehouse where the Sobey's was come down, it had some character. But nothing about the rest of this vacant lot or that car dealership adds anything to the hood, so I guess it's time to get on with it. This development, along with the one underway on the NW corner, will transform my neighbourhood, but I'm okay with that.
