    Latest news is that Time and Space, phases 1 and 2, are essentially sold out. They will now be building both phases at same time. Sales office will be used for another Pemberton project (Dundas and Jarvis) for a few months with demolition in spring 2018 followed by excavation of whole block (it's not going deep). Expected to be at grade by January 2019.

    The sales centre has now been closed and has been converted for the Pemberton Project @ Church and Dundas - Social. (Who thinks up their stupid names?)

    So the former Sobey's building flooded last night. Apparently the sprinklers burst, completely flooding the intersection of Princess and The Esplanade. IMG_0399. IMG_1110.JPG

    It will be a bit of a shame to see that warehouse where the Sobey's was come down, it had some character. But nothing about the rest of this vacant lot or that car dealership adds anything to the hood, so I guess it's time to get on with it. This development, along with the one underway on the NW corner, will transform my neighbourhood, but I'm okay with that.

    They’ve stripped the interior of the sales office in the former Acura dealership that served as the sales office for Social after Time and Space was sold out. Demolition soon?

    No doubt. This past week, the two big steel billboards were taken down that were on the property (facing Sherbourne).
