Recent rendering of the highrise residential towers and the podiums.
The handling of the shadow box / spandrel panels is arranged into a grid, vs. the usual smattering of the panels wildly all over the elevations.

I wish they didn't choose to go all glass for the tower portions and choose more of a "Picasso" type approach to the towers. It's like getting a really high value car and then getting the mediocre paint job.

I think the podiums are fantastic. This will finally make that stretch of Front appealing. I'm not sure if it has been discussed. What is the plan for Front Street itself?

Agree that the towers are a snore, but the podiums are sweet (if built). This is the kind of articulation of materials (incl. tip of the hat to older design) that I thought might save Cityplace at street level. Hindsight.

Awhile yet I think - they will be just north of the centre point of the site, not anywhere close to the office tower.
