Much activity at the Well site going on today, Wednesday, September 27. The shoring rig now looks to be fully, or almost fully assembled, ready to start work. The first delivery of steel 'I' beams for the retention wall shoring holes arrived this morning, the steel beams can be seen to the left of the shoring rig. Meanwhile, the amount of activity to dig out, sort, and remove the remaining buildings and parking area ground slabs appears to have increased materially - all the equipment on site appears to be almost continuously active.

are they digging all projects simultaneously or office component will go first ?
The entire site will be excavated and the office and retail portion will be built as a single phase before turning the residential component over to Tridel, IIRC. This site is going to produce a massive amount of fill.

Demolition is again underway today, as it was last Saturday, of the remaining parts of the Globe & Mail structure which are immediately adjacent to the Stantec building at 401 Wellington. Hopefully demolition the of last remnants of the building may be completed this weekend, leaving only the rest of the parking area ground slab to be removed.

Noticed them shoring the middle of this vast lot, i get the feeling that this will be one big dig

They were using the Bauer BG 30 to remove some of the large tree stumps along the fence line. When I walked by I hadn't noticed any shoring yet.
