New renderings reveal the retail and office spaces planned at Diamond Corp, Allied Properties Reit, RioCan, and Tridel's The Well, master-planned by Hariri Pontarini Architects.

One slight quibble - did the atrium roof gone down in quality from the basketweave to a generic, Yorkdale-esque treatment?

The basketweave is still in the architectural plans submitted to the city, but will it be executed as such?

Their article also says, "The development still requires approval from the city, so it's a little early to bank on everything looking exactly as it does in the snazzy renderings"...

So are they simply clearing the site or are there any buildings that area already going ahead, that anyone knows about? (The office tower for example?)

i believe there are no permits for anything yet, the approval process usually takes two years and other than the office complex nothing has been submitted,
so probably 2020 before anything happens
