**Watch for new mixed use(retail/condo) midrise COMING TO 1200 DUNDAS ST W (existing Beer Store) which will be TWICE the size of Abacus Lofts(at 1239 Dundas St W)....if anyone wants to start a new thread for this.

The Beer Store property (1200 Dundas St W) was acquired by Rosewater Capital Group & Fieldgate Urban & currently is in the design/drawings phase.
Apparently the Beer Store will be part of the retail component.

To take out a beer from the fridge at the new condo, they'll have fill out a order form. Sign and date it. Pay for it. Hand the form to someone behind a counter, who'll get the beer from the fridge for you.

Update:
Just west of Ossington, yet another of Toronto's many Beer Store and parking lot sites could make way for redevelopment on Dundas West. This month, the Beer Store at northeast corner of Dundas and Lakeview became the latest of the private-sector retailers to introduce a redevelopment plan.

Ohhhh I can't wait for the 'Ossington Neighbourhood Association' to get wind of this.
Popcorn anyone?

This looks great in terms of density! The design will get a bit more refined, i hope. That BeerStore is an eyesore.

Appealed. No hearings scheduled. Pretty surprised City and developer couldn't reach an agreement on this one.
