The super columns look taller in this level

Yes. The 17th floor is 5m high whereas the regular hotel floors were 3m (the 16th floor which is the last hotel floor is 4.29m.) This mechanical section also has the 18th floor which should add about 4m in height.

The installation of the cladding anchors and insulation on the columns is like the longest extended drum roll for that first panel of cladding.
