They have finished removing the extra platform that was attached to the top of the elevator core.
I guess we will see the elevator core cladding get completed.

I wonder when we will see the elevators installed there as well.

i suspect we will begin to see the lower level retail and hotel spaces begin making rapid progress.

Today.

Damn things picking up now that they are fly forming and self crawling I bet we get our floor a week now... Pours every Thursday

I really doubt that they can get to that rate. There are still sections they do piecemeal like the corners and threading some of the rebar for the lateral walls. I think they would do very well if they can bring it down to 7-8 working days. Add unavoidable delays due to weather conditions and supply constraints and you are still looking at 2 week cycles. Not that I am complaining and I find interesting to observe all the variations and continuous tweaks to the process.

To be fair, I don't think how they are doing the corners will have much bearing on how fast they are doing the floors proper. Those appear to be worked on separately, even if they're being done mostly at the same time now.

I don’t mean the “missing” corners but the corner sections that are poured with the floor. They are still constructing the forms for those parts manually. Perhaps they will create reusable forms for these as well.

Yes but even if they have to do those bits manually, they just got 70% of the form work to be 'automated' this will pickup big time, i guess time will tell.

It looks like a couple of sections of the forms for the columns can now be slid straight back on tracks instead of being removed completely each time. Presumably those form pieces will stay in place now and rise along with the platform on each column. That should help speed things along a little bit, too.
