Toronto The One | 328.4m | 91s | Mizrahi Developments | Foster + Partners

Looks like it's actually a few metres taller than that too - the 305.6m is to the mechanical penthouse, there is another 2-3m of parapet surrouding the penthouse by the looks of it that should push this to 308-309m.

True. The architectural plans always bog down the computer but I managed to grab a screenshot of the top:

Yup. Roughly 3m on top of the 305.6m height. (Did a simple Bluebeam measurement)

So that then block to the south can share a parking ramp if / when the time comes that all of the he properties have been assembled?

Have come to realize there are a couple things about this tower that added to its allure but in a more subtle way. The two fins at the top have the appearance of being devil-horns, which kinda help give it that bold mean look. But also they somewhat mimic Hancock Tower's two antennae, a building that is basically the de facto example of bold structural expressionism (something that I think The One emulates quite well).

It's not two fins on the top, it's two columns on each side rising to the topmost beams of the structure, which where they cross the perpendicular ones form the room where the tuned mass damper will be housed. It may look like two fins in the image on this page, but the further away you get from the building, the geometry will be more easily seen.

I've plugged 1,012 feet into the database file, which it's rounding up to 309 metres, plus I've added the updated rendering.

Looks like Apple will only be two storeys and about 15,500 square feet in area, on the main level and concourse level: no upper level.

Also, P4 level will be fully excavated. Previous plans left a NW portion unexcavated.

Ah yeah "fins" is totally not the right word. I kinda knew that and usually go out of my way to use more technical terms. With architecture am still a bit iffy, but I remember reading the HUB doc and it gave pretty good technical descriptions of its exoskeleton features. Should've put them to use.

Today.
