I believe you've stated that opinion in this thread several times already.

Enough that it just seems like (I'm gonna feign shock here), trolling.
I believe the poster here is in world where voicing such would encourage the developers (or The City) to tear it all down and put up something better. I get that, as I feel the same way about "Design" Haus...

...but in reality, it doesn't work that way. At all. And currently the tower is under receivership, so they couldn't really do that even if that was a reality. So yeah, the repeating opinion is rather pointless at this juncture.

Even if you believe in infinite realities, none of them would contain a scenario where the developers willingly tear this building down to put up something "better".

EDIT: I'll also add, with a name like "Cryptopreneur", who would ever think they were trolling?!

The One must be getting close to surpassing First Canadian Place as the tallest building in Toronto/Canada as well as becoming the first "Supertall" for Toronto/Canada. Are there any estimates of its current height? We must be fast approaching a red-letter day for this forum!
Looks like they are setting up the forms to pour level 77 (mechanical) and poured the elevator core for level 77, which means there is still another 30 metres or so for the elevator core to go before it reaches FCP.

Do we know whether they're building to 85 or 91 stories? It should be clear by now, but I might have missed it.

Not to pick on you, but members really need to go back a few pages before asking this, or maybe would should put a sticky in the thread as this keeps getting asked, and it was answered two pages back.

So one more time, nobody really knows for sure yet, but Northern Light posting something a while back that gave the biggest indicator so far that's it's going to be the original height of 85 stories.

Who said I believe they should tear it down? I'm not the developer.

I can't express my opinions on the building? I was one of the few that said Apple would leave before they did, that this project was shady, that money laundering was likely done with this project, etc. and what happened? They were all true. Was I trolling then too?

I don't understand the need to absolutely LOVE every building that goes up because it's in "Toronto". Hell, I think Toronto is dying as city to begin with. But that's another post for another time to "troll" more people.

And my opinions are not just limited on this building. Hell, 8888 Yonge in Richmond Hill is AN ABSOLUTE PLANNING DISASTER. The building looks horrible, the planning is HORRIBLE. If I were city officials, I would investigate EVERY Richmond Hill planner/city member involved in approving this project to be investigated for payouts. How on earth do you get approval for such density when I can come out of the window and go inside the neighbours unit on THE ADJACENT TOWER (not even the same tower).

We have incompetent people in key positions in Canada and it's evident throughout our real estate industry. We also have MANY shady people in real estate because we're the easiest country in the world to launder funds originating from crime into real estate. Worst part of it all? No one is doing anything. The average Canadian is just enslaved into a zombie mindset. It's disturbing. Hell, why on EARTH was Taylor Swift (I hate saying her name) escorted by police with shutdown lanes? WHY? WHO IS SHE? Ahh... the country I was born in crumbling before my eyes.

Sorry for the rant, but sometimes it's good to get things out.

That what I thought, just wanted to make sure I didn’t miss anything more official. I remember someone saying it would be obvious after the 64th (iirc) or so storey because the design deviates, but as you can see UT and most listings still say 91 stories.

Good rant, but it's not only Toronto or Canada, it's pretty much the whole western civilization, the USA has a lot of parallels with the Soviet Union before it collapsed, and the rest of it won't survive much longer with climate change. In the meantime let's just enjoy these wonders of construction and civil engineering.

We need a name for these three towers!

I agree.. I would NEVER leave Canada for the USA... it's even worse.

Their politics is just LAUGHABLE. Both sides screwing people over. You think Elon Musk cares about free speech? Lmfao. The romans were right... "panem et circenses". We see it before our eyes (at least the ones that can see through the BS).
