Newmarket The Davis (Phases 1-3) | 47m | 15s | Rose Corp | RAW Design

Sales office is across the street from Southlake Regional Hospital at the corner of Davis and Patterson, which is about 1 km from the actual project site and remains quiet. The Sales Office was open today:

From the project description: "Walk to nearby shops, restaurants, GO Transit, LRT and more." LRT? 🤔

Good to see more density in Newmarket. So far it seems to have escaped any substantial densification even though there are plenty of ratty plazas and auto body shops that could be redeveloped.

Is there less interest to develop here than other areas? Stricter planning regs? Or just lack of demand from the market--the thinking being that if I'm going all the way to Newmarket, it better be for a detached house? 😏

Update: There are now 0 cranes on Phase 1, 1 crane on phase 2, and 2 new cranes erected for Phase 3 (See Photos).
