Do you mean the old Capitol Theatre on Yonge?

That's just the bells, not the convoy of luxury SUVs dropping kids off with drivers prone to knee-jerk reactions over intensification.

The Capitol was never one of the 'great' theatres; but we've lost so many, kinda shame to see another one go.

Of course it's already been 'event spaced' but it would be completely restorable.

While the existing storefronts are unexceptional, they are a decent contribution to neighbourhood fabric; I would certainly be concerned that we could do much worse.
