Wow the real estate market in Toronto has got so crazy that they're making condos in the hood now? :)

I'm not familiar with that part of Scarborough. What's the neighbourhood like?

Really nice area, lots of immigrants and ethnic minorities. Really close to the Galloway area which has a lot of TCHC and co op housing.

Its an area that has been slowly re-developing for the better. All shopping needs withing walking distance at Morningside Crossing an the newly updated plaza directly across the street. Some really, really good Caribbean food options in the area. If the Eglinton LRT comes it could be really solid value as it's <5mins drive from UTSC & <15min walk to GO as well.

Borders on some of the nicest areas - West Hill, Highland Creek & Guildwood
Borders on some of the no so nicest areas - Old Kingston-Galloway apartments and co-ops.

I see. I guess it remains to be seen whether its proximity to Galloway will hurt sales. Having UTSC nearby definitely helps though.

I passed by the site today and the sales centre has been around since at least October.

Agreed. The LRT will make or break this area in the future. The Developer has a few projects in the area of Highland Creek & West Rouge. They currently have semi-detached homes on the market for $1 to 1.2 million nearby. Not a huge fan of what they've done in their previous projects tbh.

This design looks OK for the area. The have prices on MLS 1+1 Bed (just over 600sq') going for $272,000 , 2 Bed - $335K and 3Bed - $485K.

From the latest drawings on the Dev App site, it looks like Onespace Unlimited has taken over the architectural design for this project:

Last time I drove by, at the end of March, the ground floor had not yet been completed. There was worker activity on the Saturday.
