I noticed from my window that after New Years they closed off the whole parking lot... Today they brought in more large equipment. Previously they had blocked off half the parking lot. Raptors game was on last night and people were desperately trying to squeeze in to the remaining surface lot east of Harour 60.

It looked to me like the augers were drilling cassions for excavation (remediation or otherwise), but I didn't watch for long.

It's not underway. They're just performing remediation work on the land.

Perhaps, but why would they bother doing that work now if they weren't highly confident they'd be building at least the office portion.
Why tear up a perfectly good parking lot, losing all the revenue from it, in order to do work that can easily be done once you plan to go ahead with the project? The machines they have on site indicate they're planning on the full excavation, not just remediation.
