As per a couple of 8 year old requests from this thread (https://urbantoronto.ca/forum/threads/street-signs.13896/), I have finally taken it upon myself to set up the following sites:

Toronto Street Sign Database

Toronto Street Furniture Database

They are both wiki-based websites, so everyone and anyone with something to add can contribute - and, as I just finished setting them up today, there's still lots to add/correct (especially the Furniture site as that's not really my area of interest).

I've basically just been adding old pictures so far. Hopefully some of you UT encyclopediacs will sign-up and help to flesh-out the meatier info side of these sites. See you there....?!

My pleasure - thank you

I just started adding traffic signals, fire hydrants, bike stands, and parking meters to the TSFDB mix, as well.
Anything else that anyone can think of in terms of street furniture/appliances/stuff?

Not to give you more to do BUT you may want to look at (and link to?) the City's current Streetscape Manual and THEIR standards? https://www.toronto.ca/city-governm...delines/design-guidelines/streetscape-manual/ It would be good to know that X is the current City standard (or one of them).
