Today: the good, the bad and the ugly

My only gripe is that it has a slightly blueish tint, especially when seen directly behind 411 Church, like in the first pic in the post with the pix above. I wish it was solidly white. Otherwise, it's a great building.

Bold, solid, and coherent vs. Ill defined, flimsy, and incoherent.........the twins on one block and the twinge on the next.
That's interesting--I see what you mean. But it wasn't my first impression of the buildings. The one on the s/e corner strikes me, at least at first glance, as bold and solid, too.
 
Less obvious but equally awful is the renovation of the TCHB building next to it. Large white spandrels on a vintage 60s/70s brick building just don’t work. At least it’s a pretty small building that’s kind of hidden by the new towers.
