Great, the south end of the site is excavated down to its depth (4 levels of parking) and now they can finish off the north end. I am told they are planning to start real foundation work as soon as the worst frost is over (mid-March?). The water supply pipe was installed yesterday as part of the larger water-main construction on Jarvis.

Yes, they have been busily digging out the last few feet (they are at the shale level) and have been grinding the side walls so that they can start actually building. Their planned date for completion of excavation was March 31, they may actually be on time!

Looks like they are using it to finish the shoring on the south end with concrete instead of lumber.
