Nothing really new to add, other than the west side of Duke of York looks pretty good now with these two buildings both complete: nice street-wall!

The other side looks pretty good too.

Now all they have to do is add another couple buildings to the campus, and move all the parking underground.

Do you know if the application for a 5 storey addition to Sheridan College on the south side of Rathburn, west of Confederation listed on the Planning and Building Applications site is the phase that has already been completed or a new phase?

There are a couple of apartment towers on the southwest corner of Confederation and Rathburn. Phase 2 (figuring in my third photo in the post above) is at the southwest corner of Duke of York and Rathburn, and I haven't heard of them starting a third building yet. I'd also be surprised if they built off the current blocks.

"Phase 2A Expansion to Sheridan College Hazel McCallion Campus.
The building expansion will consist of complementary uses to the Phase I and Phase 2 Buildings….gymnasium, athletic centre, fitness centre, student lounge, senate space, etc.
There will be no new classroom space added to the campus."

My take on this notice is to fix an error on the current building, not a new one.

If a new was to be built to the west of this one, it would have to go through planning and development first and then the province would have issue an RFI or an RFP.

Per above, according to Jim Doran (Strategic Leader, Development Liaison, City of Mississauga | Planning and Building Department), this notice refers to the following as per his own words:
