It's always exciting to see glass go up on a building, even if you are not a fan of the building.
It's still better than majority of the condos with ugly balconies or random patterns. The whole Bay-Adelaide complex (3 towers) just sucks the life out of you. When people (rightfully) criticize Toronto for being sterile and devoid of style/beauty it's mind numbing stuff like this they're referring to. Wish we were getting something as nice as the new Square One office proposal. This is of good quality but there's little else positive one can say.
It's as if the entire complex is just meant to disappear in the cityscape. If this is a goal, it's an odd one. It's been neatly realized. It's still better than majority of the condos with ugly balconies or random patterns.
So it's not bad then. No presence is better than negative presence. Condos like YC or Daniels Waterfront stick out like a sore thumb. It's as if the entire complex is just meant to disappear in the cityscape. If this is a goal, it's an odd one. It's been neatly realized.
Agreed. The complex is ultimately harmless but it could have been something better. So it's not bad then. No presence is better than negative presence. Condos like YC or Daniels Waterfront stick out like a sore thumb.
That's my take. May not be anything special but offices going up in the city sometimes give us beauties like CIBC Square and hopefully 160 Front (quality TBD).Its nice to see office buildings going up everywhere in Toronto
Yup for sure.., i can't wait for The Hub that'll be the next beautyThat's my take. May not be anything special but offices going up in the city sometimes give us beauties like CIBC Square and hopefully 160 Front (quality TBD).
