The hudson's bay building made for a nice backdrop to the parkette. I fear it becoming claustrophobic with the completion of this one.

The whole Bay-Adelaide complex (3 towers) just sucks the life out of you. When people (rightfully) criticize Toronto for being sterile and devoid of style/beauty it's mind numbing stuff like this they're referring to. Wish we were getting something as nice as the new Square One office proposal. This is of good quality but there's little else positive one can say.

It's still better than majority of the condos with ugly balconies or random patterns.

It's as if the entire complex is just meant to disappear in the cityscape. If this is a goal, it's an odd one. It's been neatly realized.
So it's not bad then. No presence is better than negative presence. Condos like YC or Daniels Waterfront stick out like a sore thumb.

That's right. Although, I would say that these buildings do look good in sunset shots when they reflect the soft light and look so orange.

It's probably just the angle and lighting in the photo but it seems like the glass is different than the other phases and seems like worse quality ?
