^Looks like the service elevators are down now and they are going to be filling in the cladding very soon.

Ritz/RBC/Festival/others from the 68th floor of FCP by me (today, july 27, 2010):

***Forgive the glare, it was really annoying at the time!!!

The last big job for the crane on top of the Ritz?

Taken on my way to work this morning, what I assume is the window washing rig.

Anyone with a view of the west side of Ritz try to get some pics of it going up, it should be impressive.

I'm going to assume as soon as the window washing equipment is put in place. Once it's up, I believe it will be used to clad the service elevator strip so the construction crane won't be needed any more.

a little off topic - but for such tall building such as the Ritz, window washing must be quite scary to say the least... how do they do it? it's like danger pay at those hights... and think about ICE condos too...

Udo, must the rest of us be denied the opportunity to view the image? Your photography is well liked here.

Khris, "can't stand" is more than a little rude. If you don't like a photo, just move on.

It wasn't intended to be rude at all. Just my opinion of HDR style photography. Wasn't meant to be taken personally. I think the photo would be amazing if it was just left to stand on it's own instead. The composition was really great.

couple of pics from SSC....first, by Looking/Up...

Sorry I didn't mean to create a controversy . I took the photo off because I thought that Khris was right in the sense that the HDR was a little overdone and I didn't want to leave it as is - I should have left a note. Let me work on the photo a little more and I will re-post including a non-HDR version for Khris. Really - no offense taken.
