Okay, I’m confused. I thought running was good for you.
I found this thread on the map during my dog walk tonight. @interchange42

I will post these pictures here then

One picture for the record.

Running, or even walking long distances, on concrete is hard on your joints (knees, ankles, hips) as the surface has little to no give. Shoes help but it's hard to make a shoe soft enough to compensate for concrete without causing plantar fascia problems, and they're not very durable. Running on pavement is quite a bit better. Running on packed dirt trails, a sprung gym floor, or a high quality treadmill generally won't degrade the knees and possibly even strengthens them. Consistent periodic running on any surface is good for your heart and circulatory system.

We're talking a lot of running for concrete to be a problem, that 2nd weekly marathon and not a short sprint to catch the bus.

This thread is good for the teardown pics, but so is the other one, no worries!

This isn't actually going to start construction anytime soon is it ?

And no, running is great for you, don't listen :) - sure if you're running 50KM a week you need to take some care but even then ...
