Toronto Pinnacle One Yonge | 345.5m | 105s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

By next summer it'll pass One Bloor and then go on to be the first building in this country to reach supertall status.
...as long as it doesn't run into any complicated weight transfer system it should be fairly smooth sailing after podium levels I suspect.

Next summer?? It will pass One bloor in a few months. I'll be 80 by the time One Bloor is close to topping out, and I'm 47 right now.
Mr. Skira over on the The One thread suggests otherwise. And keep in mind if The One doesn't get its new height approved, it will top out 20 metres sooner.

...so unless you are close to popping 80, expect it to be finished before that milestone birthday cheevo.

The building maintenance unit has been set in place.

Honestly, I'd have liked it if this building was just a few more floors taller. Whenever I scroll up or down an image of the building, I feel like it ends just a little too early. Or maybe the floorplan could've stepped inward every few floors the last 20 or so floors to make it more pointy. Though, that would mean they'd have to sacrifice the number of units.

The crown on this one isn't done yet, but I agree that it feels like it terminates abruptly. Though also I wonder if, once the rest of the complex fills out, it'll look more resolved beside its taller neighbours. If this one topped out in a grand pinnacle it'd almost look kitschy beside towers that are 20-30 storeys taller.

That abrupt termination looks to be intentional. As of the 3 buildings, this one is the least show-off'y and the most conventional from the renderings. Even so though, without its bigger siblings to steal the show currently, it looks pretty impressive and fantastical, IMO.
