It was a sunny morning this morning so I grabbed a picture :)

We love to see it! Approx. how many levels do we think the dig is so far, and how many more to go?
I would say they are about 10m-12m down and 8m-10m to go. I presume they’ll go down to the same level as phase 1. Here is a pic from Oct 2018, from page 183 of this thread, posts around 2730 and later. Have a look at the posts from that time for comparison.

Site actually looks pretty quiet for such a big excavation/building
The main action is likely taking place in the construction of the first building. As the development for the one under excavation is waiting on that one to be completed more or less. So perhaps they are in not really in a rush big hole side?

Logical thought but they look pretty new. From the pics they still have the cardboard tag stapled to the top from the mill too.

I probably should have clarified in the previous post, but the uncovered footings I was referring to are the small cluster of objects on the bottom right of the picture (the south side of the site), not the revealed caissons near the top of the picture (the east side of the site).

They removed those 3 caissons today. See pics below. My iPad seems to choose the order they get attached. I may try to edit. Anyway there is a close up of the three I saw and two pics from early 70s when Toronto Star was being built and just to the north is the low rise building that these caissons are from. And then one pic of the excavation moments ago. The excavation looks quite clean and organized now. I suspect more shoring ties are next.
