Phase 1 rental building a few floors from topping out.

As spandrel boxes go, this thing isn’t too bad.

Site Plan application submitted for the 43-storey second phase:

Pretty significant amount of density continuing to form in the area between this whole development, Heron Hill buildings to the west, Atria to the east, and the future Lansing Square project closer to Vic Park. And furthermore emphasizes the need to have a subway station at Consumers.

The Plaza across the street to the east is to be redevelop from what I been told. Mainly an office build, but hard to see that unless mix, as demand commercial land is becoming residental.

Looking at the site Sunday, couldn't see where the 3rd tower was to go unless part of this phase. Using one height in the thread title is miss leading, consider there is to be 3 of different height. Haven't follow this thread as other in months, even though I shot this site back in Feb along with Atria.

Play ground is too small and in a poor location. It was something I noticed when they started to build it months ago.

Rental must be exceeding expectation to get these 2 towers under construction so soon after the completion of the first one.

Will the commercial section get built as well when, or will it become another tower??

Kind of interesting to see some site a long Sheppard get built sooner, while others have fail to get off the ground and change hands a number of times.

Thanks for those @drum118. Here's what we're looking at: the first phase tower complete in the background, while the new park at the corner of Yorkland and Consumers is being completed in the foreground.
