This is supposed to be an emergency exit between King/Bathurst station and the Exhibition station.

Yes, that's the Ordnance Park triangle EEB, once complete the area will be incorporated into the rest of the park

I watched two of the "curved" beams being craned up by one end and they curved even more until the far end left the ground and then they gradually straightened.
They are now in place vertically in the centre of the Bathurst Street side.
I think when the remaining "curved" beams are vertically installed you will find nothing but straight posts.
Let me know if I'm wrong!
(And next time you're in the area why not ask the iron workers about it, they're the experts).

July 27: The north side of King Street project is moving very quickly. Both the side (north-south axis) girder structures are now largely complete. The first two photos are from Friday mid-day, and the rest are from today (Saturday afternoon, around 3:45 PM) - the Saturday crew still working.

August 6 - Two more trusses assembled with additional components stacked on site for assembly.

August 7 - Clifford Heritage Restorations on site today, along with a shiny new piece of their equipment. Normally one might not expect them back until time to work on the restored facades, closer to completion, but... Apparently, some of their stabilizing framework on the south side front facade has turned out to be in the way of a non-Ontario line contractor's activity. So Clifford is back to facilitate whatever needs to be done.
