Lol. Honestly will cost less than the repairs or the rebuilding of the eastern section. Can't believe we are throwing billions of dollars into this eyesore.

Are shovels are in the ground? It looks like they knocked down a building but I've yet to see any sign they've started on actual construction.

Based on this update, shovels look to be very much in the ground 😉

the work so far is the "exhibition early works" which involves the construction of some new pedestrian tunnels and a temporary bridge over the tracks to allow the work area to be clear for the subway line.

From what I understand the tunnels will remain open for additional capacity.

This bridge is temporary so there's no chance there would be an elevator, which already exists for the existing pedestrian tunnel that isn't going anywhere.
