Yeah that corrugated window display does look interesting behind the window . But what's it's purpose for aesthetic for the some function ?

I know the eyes are failing but I'll confess I did a double-take when I looked at this photo: "When did Pei have time to design/build a supertall with a skybridge to this project?". Reaches for extra medication...

Small digression, the photo above and the photo below you can see an incongruity in the public realm that ..........hmmmm.......polite language......displeases me greatly.

Look at the streetlight on the corner..............an old-school deco-style bracket.............and a cobra-head straight out of the 80s tacked on to the end.

@#$# Not allowed! Just sayin.

We knew this would come down to the details and the details here are amazing.
Speaking of details... I just recently noticed that the pattern in the windows recalls the shape and rhythm of the windows on the old Toronto Courthouse building across the street:
