^Does Mr. 42's legs get all wibbly-wobbly when he's up there shmoozing with the exposed elements? I know mines would! >.<
There were a few people who exhibited that they were out of their comfort zone while we were riding the hoist up, (I somehow managed to stop myself from being a jackass by jumping up and down in there), but nobody seemed scared to be up there once we were on the 85th, it felt totally solid, even without a tuned mass damper in place! (Well, there was no wind to speak of!) The only time I've not felt good somewhere high up were the initial minutes on the Skywalk around the CN Tower when they had us lean over the side. After that it was like, what, we have go back in 15 or 20 minutes later?!

So, who is going to claim the 20,000th post in this thread?!

42

So neither of you are coming skydiving with me?

Pfft.

Spoilsports.

LOL

A couple of telephoto shots I took yesterday afternoon that I did not post earlier today; first from Sankofa Square, then from Yonge and Queens Quay:

Said it once and will say it again.

While Skytower will win the height battle, this building wins the war IMO. It's such an aesthetically pleasing building and having such a tall building at north end of DT gives our skyline that much more credibility at giving Chicago a run for the #2 spot in North America.
