Photos taken yesterday, Friday (May 9). Since I last posted a week ago, the forms and scaffolds at the top are where they were... though the crane has moved up, perhaps for the last time, and something new at the top - some sort of vertical steel beams where the super columns go... perhaps for the rooftop? (A close-up near the end of this post, viewed from around Queen's Park.) Whatever it is, it seems One Bloor West is now the tallest building in the city, closing in on 300 meters, as work seems to be at the Winter Garden level, 295 meters up. Meanwhile, the black Rail Climbing Systems (RCSs) are now clear of the 2nd mechanical level, except for the south one, with the first skin of level 59 visible on the south side, and visible under the east RCS.

Judging by the fact that the super columns appear to be topping out to be converted over to steel for the crown I believe we are going to be stopping at 85

I think Tridel has already confirmed they won't be going past 85 with this.
