Photos taken yesterday, Friday (Mar. 14). Since I posted a week ago, more of the forms at the top have moved up, the super-column scaffolds all now working on what seems to be level 81. Below, the remaining two hangers which span levels 71 to 76 have been installed, joining the two which were installed the previous week. Meanwhile the blue scaffolds there installing the corner floors are up a level, to floor 72. The black Rail Climbing Systems (RCSs) installing the building's skin are all up a level, the east, north and west ones, to level 56, the last level of that section. Soon we'll see the RCSs moved above the 3rd mechanical level to start on level 59. The smaller one on the south face is a few levels below. Lower down at the 1st mechanical level, the SW corner has had its scaffolds removed, now revealing the completed louvres on that level.
Starting with the view from Yonge at Dundas, then moving up to Dundonald, then Charles, with views of the south side and detailed views including the now completed 1st mechanical level. Also seen, the blue scaffolds at the top sides, parked below the 4th mechanical level until they are moved up once several floors are in place. The view from the north side, then over by Holt Renfrew a little east along Bloor including a tighter view of the top also showing the parked scaffolds. The view from Cumberland east of Bay with a closer look at the north and west RCSs, then from the NE corner of Yonge and Bloor. Finally, to the east along Bloor east of Bedford, and down Queen's Park Cres north of Hoskin.

One Bloor West (The One) "time-lapse"
From October, 2020, as above-ground construction started in earnest at The One (1 Bloor W.) in Toronto. More or less a weekly photo usually taken on a Friday, with some gaps during early-on construction hiatuses. The initial photographs are from 2015, during demolition at the site, 2018, during...
