From today:
I actually like The Tridel TowerThey can call it The Tridel Tower![]()
Actually Pemberton has sped up they are now having at least 12 employees on siteFrom UofT today. Maybe if Tridel is able to complete the cladding along with 50 Scollard this year, this view will have no cranes (unless the pemberton speeds up)

Imo, One Bloor East and One Bloor West is best. It conveys a sense of sisterhood (and is actually unique in the world) for two landmark 'twin' towers in Toronto, in the most famous intersection in the city. Even if other The One's (which I never really vibed with) are located in other countries, one wants true uniqueness so when you google One Bloor West you get specific results of the landmark tower. Like 432 Park Ave or John Hancock centerI know it's the address but for a flagship type tower just having it named after the address is kinda lame. The other Ones are not even in the same continent where as One Bloor East is across the street. It doesn't really instill or illicit any prestige. This is Canada's first supertall after all....
I was more or less going to mention that instance where we were debating which page this thread would be on when One Bloor West tops out, but I did not remember when the exact dates of the posts were.Well, I guess I've officially lost my bragging rights here. And it was so close!

With the perspective and slope of land from the lake, it really does look "supertall" from there! Here to share my obligatory scenic photo of the One

I see. Thanks for the explanationTridel determined that it is just one of many One's. Yonge St is lined with them.
