Seeing the video leads me to believe this will be dynamic. Have you checked it out in the front page story? It appears that only the upper parts of the installation turn.

42

Yep, but the video is also 4 years old, mind you. In it, some of the joints we can already see do appear to move - ones that are now fixed.

I'd love to be wrong, and to that point, there do seem to be some joints that are still enclosed in plastic. We'll see!

I’m not sure that I noticed that the Southwest commercial space had been leased before. Any ideas as to what is going in there? I don’t think it is Mark McEwan’s store.

I mentioned this in the Bloor-Yorkville thread but also should have mentioned it here...it's going to be a Chick-Fil-A :s

I can see why they chose this piece. Once the protective film is removed, the sinous silver tubes compliment the shifting balconies of the tower, as can be seen from Benito’s 4th picture.

McEwan’s is actually going to be located in the P1 level. There will be an escalator off of Yonge St bringing you down to it.

I literally thought the art installation was just garbage shoots running down from the podium somewhere, and I thought 'Oh God, no, they're still doing construction!'.

Oh no, not a garbage shoot. That's the public art.
